The Clark Sisters recently posted a promotional video that announced that the legendary gospel sisters have some new music in store. There seems to be a partnership between Karew Entertainment and Motown Gospel and we are excited!

Karen, Dorinda, Twinkie and Jackie were born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and are the daughters of esteemed gospel musician and legendary choir director Mattie Moss Clark.  Some of their countless hits include the songs, “Is My Living in Vain?,””Endow Me,” and the crossover hit, “You Brought the Sunshine.”  In 1973, they recorded their first album entitled, Jesus has a Lot to Give.

The dynamic Grammy-award winning sisters have produced over 20 albums. This makes The Clark Sisters the highest selling female gospel group to date.

Some of their 20 albums include: Count It All Joy (1978), New Dimensions of Christmas Carols (1978), You Brought the Sunshine (1981), and Is My Living in Vain (1980).

What is noteworthy about The Clark Sisters is that they “have made it their lifestyle to represent the living God in everything that they do. They live to be loving and kind to any and everyone they come in contact with and their reputation speaks for itself.” (www.clarksisters.net)

In 2018, it was announced that The Clark Sisters will have a biopic about their lives entitled, The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel. The film will air on Lifetime in January 2020. Celebrated music artists Missy Elliot, Mary J. Blige and Queen Latifah are listed as the executive producers.

Details to be released soon, because we are sure ready to hear that incomparable harmony and sound on the airwaves. Check out the video!
