Christmas is a special time of year, and Gospel music’s number one hitmaker 2021 Stellar Hall of Fame Inductee and celebrated radio promoter Kerry Douglas is full of Christmas cheer as he makes plans to release his first Gospel Mix Christmas compilation.

“Gospel music is: “feel good music” that enables us to share hope and inspiration with people around the world”, says Douglas.  “Music itself speaks a universal language and I wanted to have something special that we could share with everyone, Gospel Mix Christmas is my gift to the world as we come together in the spirit of the holidays, sharing love, peace and goodwill with friends and family both near and far. I know I am blessed to be here after having a major heart attack that was an attempt of the devil to cut my life short, but he didn’t win. I am currently going through rehabilitation and therapy. I am so grateful to be still here. God left me around to finish His work. Its these times that allow you to single out the things that matter the most and value and appreciate the gift that life gives to us. So a very Kerry Christmas to all.”

Douglas has assembled some Gospel music heavyweights as well as emerging artists and newcomers for this bakers dozen disc including chart toppers Zacardi Cortez, Earnest Pugh, Keith Wonderboy Johnson, Monica Lisa Stevenson and  LaSha Knox, peppered with noteworthy performances from Cedric Ballard, James Johnson, Nikki Ross, Cinque Cullar, Paul Turner and CMI and the late Shawn McLemore. The songs range from nostalgic holiday favorites to new school Christmas songs and songs of celebration and praise.

Gospel Mix Christmas is available for pre order now and drops on all digital outlets on November 5th.
