The Clark Sisters will be feted with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Clark Sisters are among the three dozen honorees selected by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which also includes Miley Cyrus, Timothée Chalamet, Shaquille O’Neal, and Demi Moore. The date of their star unveiling ceremony will be announced at a later time.
With a career spanning over five decades, The Clark Sisters have redefined the sound and reach of gospel music. Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, and mentored by their mother and gospel pioneer Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, the group broke barriers with their fusion of traditional gospel, jazz, soul, and R&B. They are the highest-selling female gospel group in history, with hits like “You Brought the Sunshine,” “Is My Living in Vain,” and “Blessed and Highly Favored.”
